BLOCK CLUB CHRISTMAS GATHERING AT A NEIGHBORHOOD RESIDENCE IS SHOWN IN MEMORY OF FORMER MEMBERS. SAD NEWS The Blockbusters Block Club and it s members are mourning the passing of two of our beloved neighbors on Townsend Place. Elsie Stickney and Ida Soda lived side by side for many years as neighbors and friends. While they both lived long and raised fine families, they passed away during 2009 and will be missed by their blockclub friends. We extend our sympathy to their families. MORE SAD NEWS Shortly after Elsie Stickney passed away , her daughter and caregiver for many years, followed her. Kerry Stickney was our Vice President and supported our block club efforts since its inception. She often helped with the work at the community park on 8th Street and attended all of our events and meetings. ALLEY CLEAN UP SCHEDULED FOR MAY 15, 2011 WITH NIAGARA COUNTY SHERIFF WORK FORCE
