Niagara Falls Block Club Council

The Niagara Falls Block Club Council is a strong supporter of the efforts of the Niagara Beautification Commission. This is also a group of volunteers who meet at their office at 1609 Main Street, Niagara Falls, New York on the third Thursday of each month at 8:00AM.
Their mission is to become involved in projects which enhance the beautification of Niagara Falls. They hold an annual Beautify Niagara -Clean Sweep in April of each year, and a Holiday Decorating Contest in December. On the third Thursday of each September the Annual Awards Luncheon is held where this organization honors and recognizes "beautiful people" and "beautiful places" within the community who have contributed to the beautification of Niagara in some way. This award has been expanded to the monthly SPOTLIGHT AWARD highlighting businesses who have made a special effort to keep their locations "beautiful". In 2005 the organization recognized the winners of the first ever Niagara Blooms contest and in 2006 Historic Niagara was the theme and honorees were recognized for restoration of historical properties. 2007 Beauty and the Arts recognized local art galleries for their contribution to Keeping Niagara Beautiful.
We will continue to highlight the activities of this organization on our web site as many of our members are active in this group.
